The Registration Process

We are always keen to add well qualified and enthusiastic teachers to our team and believe that supply teachers are an invaluable part of the national schools network in providing a safe and professional education for our children.

Once you have submitted your application form and CV online, we will assess your qualifications and experience and, when we have established your suitability, one of our consultants will contact you to arrange an interview.

You will need to bring with you:

  • Qualifications – evidence that you hold qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Teacher number (DfE number)
  • Identification – All teachers are required to provide at least 3 forms of identification two of which must be from group A (one containing a photograph) and if applicable one from group B. A further one item of identification is required from Group C which must be dated within 3 months and show your current address.
  1. Valid passport and Visa/Permission to work in the UK
    UK Driving Licence – photocard and paper section
    Birth Certificate
    EU Identity card
  2. Marriage Certificate or Deed Poll document
  3. P45/P60 Statement
    Bank or Building Society Statement
    Utility bill
    Mortgage/Insurance Statement
    Addressed Payslip
    Correspondence from government departments i.e. Inland Revenue,
    Employment Service
  • CV
  • Overseas police check - if you have spent 6 months or more abroad in the last 5 years you will need to bring an overseas police check or letter of good conduct from the country's embassy.
  • Evidence of Prevent Duty training - If you still need to complete this please click on this link for a free training course and bring the certificate with you.
  • DBS Disclosure - All teachers are required to undergo a DBS Enhanced Disclosure. (the cost for this is £44). Where the teacher brings an existing disclosure, it will need to be registered with the DBS update service.
  • References - Teachers are required to provide details of at least two referees, one of whom must be their previous/current employer and ideally both who are able to comment directly on their performance in the education field.
  • Evidence of Child Protection Training - if carried out in the last three years (training can be provided for this).
  • 2 passport photographs (smiley faces are allowed)
  • National Insurance number
  • Bank details - for payroll purposes

The interview will take about an hour during which we will discuss your experience, work requirements and opportunities. At the end of the interview and once we have completed the clearing process successfully you will be clear to start work.

We will then provide you with your login and password for your Online Diary showing details of your day to day availability, booking information and enabling you to view current teaching vacancies.
