About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Computer Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Chichester. This is a full teaching role, starting January 2025, where you will inspire and educate students across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5 for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Computer Science lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Foster a passion for technology and innovation among students.
- Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment that meets the needs of all learners.
- Prepare students for exams, ensuring strong outcomes in Computer Science.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the department’s success.
- Uphold the school’s values and commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge, with an ability to teach programming, algorithms, and ICT-related topics.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A passion for education and a commitment to professional growth.
