Role Overview:
Class Cover are seeking a dedicated and qualified Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant on a part-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative and stimulating environment, contributing to the learning and well-being of our young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to the developmental needs of Early Years.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Encourage positive behaviour and social interactions among children.
- Observe and document children’s progress, contributing to their learning portfolios.
- Engage in continuous professional development and implement best practices in early years education.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in an early years setting.
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient demeanour.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
